False Acrylic Nails

Not all women are gifted with having great looking nails, and not everyone can grow there finger nails long! Are you finding it hard to grow your nails naturally? If so why not invest in a good set of acrylic nails or false nails. There are numerous false nail kits out there to give you a great looking nails. For a quick fix for your nails why dont you try false acrylic nails. There are lots of false nails that you can find in any shop but you will find the chipoff easily. Acrylic nails come in a variety of shapes and sizes so always choose those that fit your nails well. You also need to clean your nails before you put your false acrylic nails on. Remove any nail polish from your real nails wash them and let them dry.

Fix your false nails – acrylic nails

Firstly get a tube of nail glue. Brush the glue onto the false nail carefully push the nail under your cuticle. Once the nail is safely in place, trim it so it looks almost real. Finally buff them, and put a bit of lotion to each nail to make them shine.

The false nails should last you for about 10 days but its always pays to have a tube of nail glue with you for a quick fix anytime. All your friends will think you have beautifully natural real nails.Nails provide an external sign of your health, with weak, brittle nails often signaling some nutritional deficiency. Ignore your nails and you could wind up with painful ingrown nails or annoying fungal infections. Below are some tips to get well groomed healthy finger nails or toe nails. 1. A glass of milk and a hard-boiled egg to your daily diet can help with the health of your nails. Rich in zinc, they’ll do wonders for your nails, especially if your nails are spotted with white, a sign of low zinc intake.

2. Rub a small amount of petroleum jelly into your cuticle and the skin surrounding your nails every evening before you go to bed or whenever your nails feel dry. If your not a fan of petroleum jelly you can use castor oil. It’s thick and contains vitamin E, which is great for your cuticles. Or head to your kitchen cupboard and grab the olive oil — it also works to moisturize your nails.

3. If you have diabetes its important to trim your toenails straight across to avoid ingrown toenails.

4. Always file your nails correctly. Avoid filing in a back-and-fourth motion go in one direction to keep your nails at their strongest. And never file just after you’ve gotten out of a shower or bath — wet nails break more easily.

Acrylic nails,gel nails or solar nails?

Over a bottle of wine me and few friends asked the question which false nails are best? Top 3 favourites were acrylic,gel,solar. I went for gel. They gave me a natural looking nails also gave my nails a high gloss shine that lasted for weeks which means i can go longer between fills. Some of my friends went for Solar nails which are also a good choice as they are also stronger than acrylic nails but! they cost more. For me it would be gel first then solar the acrylic nails. I also think that airbrushing looks much better on gel anils because they are shiner.

Pros and cons of the different false nails

Acrylic nails

Pros..

1. If i break my acrylic nails i can always fix it temporaily and easily.

2. removing the nails is a simple process and straightforward. The nails can be soaked rather than filed off.

3. Acrylics are very strong. When done correctly and good nail care is practiced, they can last a long time.

Cons..

1.They can really damage your real nails more so than gel nails.

2. Acrylics nails can look fake instead of natural look.

3. Its hard to grow out acrylic nails.

Gel Nails

Pros..

1. For me Gel nails look more natural and glossy than other types of false nails.

2. I find curing time is faster than acrylics nails.

3. The Gel nail mixtures dont smell!

4. There is less filing involved.

Cons..

1. Unfortunatly they are not as durable as acrylic nails and dont last as long even though they cost more.

2. because Gel nails are harder to do yourself its best to get them done professionally.

3. When gel nails break there is no quick fix as i have found they can shatter so its a quick phone call to my manicurist.

4. Gel nails almost always need to be filed off.
